Jackfruit ’15, Bhoomija’s music fest for and by children, will come to Jagriti Theatre, Whitefield, on 6 and 7 May ’15.On 6 May, 6:30 PM, there will be a show of Bhoomija’s Children’s Carnatic Choir ’14, directed by Abhishek Raghuram. A signature act, the Children’s Choir is a one of its kind show with 23 children under the age of 16 singing Carnatic music in perfect harmony and maturity. Directed and conducted by the young and energetic superstar of Carnatic music, Abhishek Raghuram, the Choir was a super-hit when it opened last year. Abhishek has put together an energetic repertoire that the children proficiently render. Abhishek is himself on the stage, challenging the children to match his virtuosity and innovations. Mallika Prasad is the Creative Director of the choir. Vaibhav Ramani, a child prodigy (student of Kumaresh) plays the violin, Adamya Ramanand is on the Mridangam and Smaran Haridashwa on the Morsing. 

On 7 May, Jackfruit presents two concerts. The first one, at 6:30 PM, will feature Sai Shreyas in a Carnatic vocal concert. A student of Savitha Karthik, Shreyas is a resident of Whitefield and is showing clear signs of becoming a prodigy. He will be accompanied by Anand Vishwanathan on the violin and Vinay Nagarajan on the Mridangam. This concert of 60 mins will be followed by the electrifying taala-vaadya ensemble that enthralled the audiences in Jackfruit last week in MLR. This ensemble of 10 children below 15 playing 13 instruments, under the direction of Giridhar Udupa and Jayachandra Rao.
